CAIRO (AP) — With a mob of Muslim extremists on their tail, the Christian businessman and his nephew climbed up on the roof and ran for their lives, jumping from building to building in their southern Egyptian village. Finally they ran out of rooftops.

Forced back onto the street, they were overwhelmed by several dozen men. The attackers hacked them with axes and beat them with clubs and tree limbs, killing Emile Naseem, 41. The nephew survived with wounds to his shoulders and head and recounted the chase to The Associated Press.

The mob’s rampage through the village of Nagaa Hassan, burning dozens of Christian houses and stabbing to death three other Christians as well, came two days after the military ousted Islamist President Mohammed Morsi from power. It was no coincidence the attackers focused on Naseem and his family: He was the village’s most prominent campaigner calling for Morsi’s removal.

Some Christians are paying the price for their activism against Morsi and his Islamist allies in a backlash over his ouster last week.

Since then, there has been a string of attacks on Christians in provinces that are strongholds of hard-liners. In the Sinai Peninsula, where militant groups run rampant, militants gunned down a priest in a drive-by shooting as he walked in a public market.

A real Christian or not? Maybe just back sliding?

God has been really revealing a lot to me here lately. I just thank him for the revelation that I’m fixing to share with you. There is so much evil in the world that we can not tell a lie from truth any longer. Even when truth is plan as day most are deceived. I know this is a random post but I feel the Holy Spirit is directing me to post this. So who ever you are I hope this is a blessing. Lets start this trip off with this. How often have you asked someone if they are a Christian, and they say yes? Almost 9 out of 10 times. If there are that many Christians how come the world is in the state it is in? How come we have Christians killing other Christians? The answer to this is simple. But I didn’t come up with it on my own, All glory to the King on the Throne. When you ask someone are they a Christian they say yes because they are determining this off of saying a prayer. Bam! They are saved! Or they say yes because they Believe there is God and Jesus. But they aren’t serving him. First off I know I’ll get some hate mail from this but let me make this clear. Christians don’t murder people. I understand self defence, protecting a child or 3rd party. But I mean murder! So when you look at news and see a Christian killed their pastor today, understand they were not truly saved. Now lets look at another case the people who believe God is real and that Jesus is real, but claim to be a Christian. Thats not a Christian I believe cars are real and I even know enough to fix a little and how to drive, but that doesn’t make me a  mechanic. So knowing they exist isn’t enough. Now lets talk about the ones I will get the dirty looks and emails about. If you have ears then listen, this is Biblical!  The (most) modern Churches have a way with people. They tell a person to confess with your mouth Jesus died and was raised from the dead and confess your sin. Bam! You’re going to heaven and you’re saved. They are  misleading people.  If you went shopping and a man says sign here. Because I’ll give you this car. So you sign it. Thats a awesome deal, you sign your name and get the free car. He explains how you are having to walk everywhere now so it can help make your trail easier and faster. But you have never seen a car. You have no clue how to drive it. But you mess around with it and figure it out a little bit. you go for a ride but a few miles down the road, a tire blows out. The car pulls to the right and flips over, landing on the roof. Well you get out beat up and bruised. Swearing that you will never use a car again because of the car wreck . You even go as far as warning others about how bad cars are. A hurricane is coming but no one can  get you back in the car so you choose to walk. As you are walking the storm becomes strong and you seek shelter but there is too much wind and water. You end up dieing from the hurricane. This is what is happening with most churches. They teach that we have a crossed shaped hole in our hearts and all we have to do is say a prayer and it fills that hole. You can get fulfilment, love, happiness, and  money. (Aka life enhancements) But this isn’t Biblical. The Biblical way is using a key and the Bible does actually call it “the key,” and its purpose is to bring us to Christ, to unlock the Door of the Savior (John 10:9). Not only is it biblical, but it was used throughout church history to unlock the doors of revival. Much of the church today doesn’t even know it exists. The problem is that it was lost around the turn of the twentieth century. Keys have a way of getting lost. Jesus used it. So did Paul (Romans 3:19,20) and James (James 2:10). Stephen used it when he preached (Acts 7:53). Peter found that it had been used to open the door to release 3,000 imprisoned souls on the Day of Pentecost. Jesus said that the lawyers had “taken away” the key, and had even refused to use it to let people enter into the kingdom of God (Luke 11:52). The Pharisees didn’t take it away; instead, they bent it out of shape so that it wouldn’t do its work (Mark 7:8). Jesus returned it to its true shape, just as the Scriptures prophesied that He would do (Isaiah 42:21). Satan has tried to prejudice the modern church against the key. He has maligned it, misused it, twisted it, and, of course, hidden it—he hates it because of what it does. Perhaps you are wondering what this key is. I will tell you. All I ask is that you set aside your traditions and prejudices and look at what God’s Word says on the subject. In Acts 28:23 the Bible tells us that Paul sought to persuade his hearers “concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and out of the prophets.” Here are two effective means of persuading the unsaved “concerning Jesus.” Let’s first look at how the prophets can help persuade sinners concerning Jesus. Fulfilled prophecy proves the inspiration of Scripture. The predictions of the prophets present a powerful case for the inspiration of the Bible. Any skeptic who reads the prophetic words of Isaiah, Ezekiel, Joel, etc., or the words of Jesus in Matthew 24 cannot help but be challenged that this is no ordinary book. The other means by which Paul persuaded sinners concerning Jesus was “out of the law of Moses.” The Bible tells us that the Law of Moses is good if it is used lawfully (1 Timothy 1:8). For what purpose was God’s Law designed? The following verses tell us: “The Law is not made for a righteous person, but…for sinners” (1 Timothy 1:9,10). It even lists the sinners for us: the disobedient, the ungodly, murderers, fornicators, homosexuals, kidnappers, liars, etc. The Law was designed primarily as an evangelistic tool. Paul wrote that he “had not known sin, but by the law” (Romans 7:7). The Law of God (the Ten Commandments) is evidently the “key of knowledge” that Jesus mentioned in Luke 11:52. He was speaking to lawyers—those who should have been teaching God’s Law so that sinners would receive the “knowledge of sin,” and thus recognize their need of the Savior.  Prophecy speaks to the intellect of the sinner, while the Law speaks to the conscience. One produces faith in the Word of God; the other brings knowledge of sin in the heart of the sinner. The Law is the God-given “key” to unlock the Door of salvation.  The Bible says in Psalm 19:7, “The law of the Lord is perfect converting the soul.” Scripture makes it very clear that it is the Law that actually converts the soul. Now lets go back to you shopping. The man is there telling you to sign for a free car. But he explains how you are having to walk everywhere now so it can help make your trail easier and faster. But there is danger coming. A giant hurricane is making landfall and you will need this car to evade certain death. So you start asking more questions because you now understand your predicament. But you have never seen a car. You have no clue how to drive it. But you mess around with it, ask questions and figure it out a little bit. you go for a ride but a few miles down the road, a tire blows out. As soon as the car begins to sway you remember how to correct it. You hold on to the steering wheel with all your might. But it spins out and you land in a ditch. You get out, thanking God that the man went over safety with you and showed you how to deal with a blown tire. You quickly change it because you know certain death is on its way. Now back on the road, the storm is very strong but you cling to the wheel and finally drive out of the storm. Now the first person did what the second person did. But the man made sure the second person understood everything. So when the bad times arrived they didn’t reject God they cling to him like their life depend on it.  So its up to us as Christians to use this biblical key.  Romans 10:9-10 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. So it is Biblical to use the prayer of salvation but I want to point this out. We don’t need to rush it make sure they honestly understand they are a sinner. Jesus is the only person in the world who can wash you clean. They also need to understand that time is running out death is coming. But it isn’t a life enhancement it is hard and prepare them for what they will face. But show them its worth it. Make them cling to the word of God and show them he will save them. You teach 90% Law and 10% Grace and you will have true Christian who understand why we need Jesus. The second part of this the Holy Spirit revealed to me. Romans 10:9-10 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. If you honestly believe in Jesus you know he is the son of God, which means you would take his word and study it know it by heart and try your very best to obey it. But it is very shocking to me just how many Christian don’t study. They may go to church but every thing they learn is from the pastor they center their entire belief system from what they hear others say. But never stop to read the word of God. I honestly think if more people study and asked God for direction on things such as- just using King james version, speaking in tongues,  gospel music vs contemporary music, etc. You would see the body of Christ working together more like a body and being a much brighter light to the world. This is all I can share now, I have to get in bed. But comment let me know what you think. Shalom and may God bless every one you and your families today.

Should Christians Celebrate Halloween?

The origins of Halloween are Celtic in tradition and have to do with observing the end of summer sacrifices to gods in Druidic tradition. In what is now Britain and France, it was the beginning of the Celtic year, and they believed Samhain, the lord of death, sent evil spirits abroad to attack humans, who could escape only by assuming disguises and looking like evil spirits themselves. The waning of the sun and the approach of dark winter made the evil spirits rejoice and play nasty tricks. Believe it or not, most of our Halloween practices can be traced back to these old pagan rites and superstitions.

But what about today? Perhaps we can still learn from history. In the fourth century, Christians attempted to co-opt the holiday by celebrating the lives of faithful Christian saints the day before Halloween. This was a conscious attempt to provide an alternative and re-focus the day away from ghouls, goblins, ghosts, witches and other “haunted” experiences. Since that time many Christians have decided to allow their children to dress in more “innocent” costumes of pumpkins, princesses, Superman or as a cowboy. Part of this is due to the simple reality that in today’s Western culture it is nearly impossible to “avoid” Halloween.

Just before reaching a conclusion on the subject, I was struck with the thought that I ought to further my search and find out what Wicca, the official religion of witchcraft, has to say about Halloween. Perhaps they viewed the day as a simple fun and innocent neighborhood activity?

“Shock” is the only word to describe what I found. Halloween is a real, sacred day for those who follow Wicca. In fact, it is one of two high and holy days for them. The Celtic belief of spirits being released is current, along with the worship of Samhain (the lord of death) – both are promoted as something to embrace on that day. There is no question in my mind that to those who believe and follow the practices of witchcraft, Halloween represents an opportunity to embrace the evil, devilish, dark side of the spiritual world.

So after discovering this, what is a reasonable conclusion? As Christians you and I are placed in this world to be a light in a world of darkness. There is no lasting benefit to ignore a holiday that exists around us, but it also does harm to celebrate Halloween as it has originated and grown over the centuries.

My suggestion? Christians should be teaching their children (age appropriately) that:

  • there is a spiritual world filled with goodness from God and evil from Satan (Eph. 2:1-10);
  • life with Christ has power over darkness (I John 4:4); and
  • those who celebrate Halloween either are unaware of its roots, or are intentionally promoting a world where evil is lauded and viewed as an ultimate power.

To counter the evil influence of Halloween, we need to join together and celebrate the reality of the heroic efforts of Christian saints over the evil in their day. Many leaders in the past — and present — have fulfilled the mandate of destroying the works of the devil through their sacrificial commitment to Christ and His Kingdom.

Too, rather than “hide” in the face of evil, we should unabashedly and boldly create an alternative that is positive and uplifting; that celebrates good over evil and the triumph of God over Satan. We need to provide an environment that also makes room for heaps of fun while using the day as a “teachable moment” to celebrate God’s protection, provision and purpose for our lives.

Paranoid Parents Fear School Cafeteria Scanner Will Leave Children With ‘Mark of the Devil’

According to KPLC, when parents of Moss Bluff Elementary School received a letter letting them know about the new Palm Vein Scanner, designed to help their kids move through the lunch line more quickly, they were not happy about the improvement. Instead they were “disappointed” and “very very mad.” And not because of the cost of the technologyor because they feared it emitted cancer-causing rays, but rather because they fear its evil power.KPLC 7 News, Lake Charles, Louisiana

While the school says it’s optional, and kids still can eat lunch without getting scanned, some parents, likeMamie Sonier, are so upset they don’t even want their children in the same building with the device. She says she’ll likely be transferring them out of the damned (literally) place. She explained her reason to the station saying:

As a Christian, I’ve read the Bible, you know go to church and stuff. I know where it’s going to end up coming to, the mark of the beast. I’m not going to let my kids have that.

She’s dead serious, and she’s not alone — plenty of other parents reportedly feel the same way she does. Forget the threat of the mystery meat, it’s the mark of the beast (a Biblical reference to a demonic symbol) your kid now needs to fear at noontime!

THE ANGELIC DOMAIN: CREATED BEFORE GENESIS 1:1 OR AFTER?

Many have suggested that God created the angels before the creation of the heavens and earth. Did He create them outside of time and space? The simple answer is no and here is why. Before anything was, before the blackness of space, before the void, there was the King, the Almighty, the Self-Existent, the One who was, and is and is to come. He existed in and of his own domain. God wasn’t “anywhere” because there was no “where”. There was only God. Nevertheless, He created from nothing a space, a domain outside of Himself that was not. This expanse, dimension, He called shamaim (or heavens). He filled this domain with substance, material called eretz (earth). We can think of the heavens like a water bottle filled with water (eretz).  Imagine God by Himself, of Himself, bringing forth from Himself a dimension, a void, filled with only eretz also called ‘tehom’ the ‘depth’ which had not been before. However, on that first day, the earth was only in the process of being formed. This is why God paused and explained what He meant by ‘water’. [1] He did not mean the ball of soil, dirt, land, that Adam stood on when his eyes opened and beheld God. Eretz – earth on the first day was in fact water. [2]

From that water God formed the light to fill the darkness which He also created (Isa 45:7)The first day was the beginning ofdifferentiations. Before the creation there was no differentiation (outside of God Himself and His indescribable tri-unity). On that first day God created things that were not. He created a space outside of Himself; He created darkness which had never been (Isa 45:7) for God is light and there is no darkness in Him whatsoever (I John 1:5). Thus the absence of His glorious light in the newly created void was new and different which is why the King revealed by the prophet Isaiah ‘I form the light and create darkness’. Until that moment darkness, (the absence of light) did not exist.

Therefore before day one (or Genesis 1:1) there was God and because He is light there was no such thing as darkness. When He created the void, space, it initially was devoid of God’s light and did not even have created photons. When God said ‘let there be light’ is the moment when God created the particle-waves known as photons.

We can see, therefore, that before the creation of a domain and substance, there was no place even for the angels. Their creation is not clearly detailed like the creation of Adam, however we can piece together some clues from the book of Job: “Where were you when I laid the

foundations of the earth?…Who determined its measurements? …Or who stretched the line upon it? To what were its foundations fastened? Or who laid its cornerstone, when the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?” (Job 38:4-7). Job 38 has day two in mind because the line had been stretched out upon it. The line (was pointed out to me, by a brother whose name I forget), is where day and night meet on the earth as seen from space – there literally is a line passing over it. The angels were obviously there and were observers of what God was doing while not dependent on the earth (like man would be). This is the earliest evidence we have of the angels. We hear nothing of them before this.

The next thing we have to consider is that before the fall of man there was only one domain in which the spiritual (angels, God) would exist with the physical (Adam). The one domain was split in two because of the fall of man. We know this because there is currently a veil between the heavenly domain/realm and the earthly. We learn this from Isaiah 25:7 which states that the veil, which covers all nations, is going to be removed. “And He will destroy on this mountain the surface of the covering cast over all people, And the veil that is spread over all nations. He will swallow up death forever, and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from all faces…” (Isa 25:7-8). Isaiah also says “oh that you would rend the heavens and come down.” (Isa 64:1) We hear of the sky receding like a scroll in Isaiah 34 and Revelation 6. The prophets also saw the heavens open on occasion (Ezekiel 1, Revelation 4, 19). Stephen also saw the heavens open when he was being stoned (Acts 7).

We also know that Satan was in Eden, the garden of God, which was associated with the mountain of God (Ezekiel 28:12-18). That mountain is the same mountain that we read about in Isaiah 14, which Satan attempted to climb and sit upon the “mountain of the congregation.” It is also the same that is spoken of in Hebrews “But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels.” (Heb 12:22). The mountain of God is in fact the heavenly Jerusalem according to this verse and others.

Therefore, the mountain of God was created when He created everything else and also that abode was in a common domain/dimension before the fall. God walked in the cool of the evening in the Garden of Eden, which is the same place where Satan was – the mountain of God. Eden and the mountain of God are closely connected.  This means that God’s abode and man’s were in the same domain and only split after the sentencing and casting out from the Garden with the way blocked to the tree of life. In other words, the casting out was not simply a spatial removal but a dimensional shift. The spiritual domain was divorced from the natural/physical at that point and those two will be recombined when the New Jerusalem comes down out of heaven and remains on the earth forever.

With all that in view we see that before the creation of the heavens and earth there was only God who existed in and of His own dimension. There was no other space out there, no black emptiness, no void –just God. There was only light for even darkness is something that He created (Isaiah 45:7). We also conclude that the traditional view of God dwelling “up there” and Adam being “down here” is not accurate. Nor is the belief that we will dwell “up there” in heaven for eternity.  What we understand to be “heaven” in the Scriptures is in fact the Holy Mountain/Heavenly Jerusalem – which comes down to the earth in the age to come.  So we conclude that only God existed before Genesis 1:1; the angels did not exist before then. The current separation of God’s domain from man’s is only a temporary condition which was not in place when God declared everything to be very good. As for the angels, they were therefore created after the heavens and earth of Genesis 1:1 (day two appears to be when they were created) and they were dwelling in the same domain as man until the separation of the two domains. God’s original intent was to dwell with His creatures on the earth. Corruption (sin) and death impeded that intent for several thousand years. Nevertheless, God will bring His original intent to pass and will dwell with mankind forever from His holy mountain, which will be on the earth – a place in which God, angels, and man will all dwell together.
