The importance of praying over your food.

I have been researching food and how it is approved by different certifications. What I found rocked me back. Let me start off by saying I stumbled over this with my Job. I’m in food at a kosher approved company. I have met the Rabbi and have to make sure all ingredients we use on our kosher products are kosher approved. So this is a real deal. Well I thought since we are kosher approved are there other certifications on food. I found out about Halal approved foods and wanted to share this with you.

Halal is the Islamic term that basically means the meat is lawful to eat for a devout Muslim. What makes it lawful or acceptable is that the meat has been processed in a very specific way. Unlike kosher food, where the physical processing of the meat is the focus, for Islam it is the spiritual component that makes the meat lawful.

For lawful (halal) meat in Islam, the animal must be killed while the butcher faces Mecca, and either the butcher cries “Allah Akbar” or a tape plays the words over a loud speaker.

So this means your food is being dedicated to Allah. This came as a shock for me, not only that but how many company’s are halal approved.  Here is a list of few:

  • Butterball Turkey( It was until online protest made the company change.)
  • Click here for a complete list

So how many times are you at work running late for a meeting, or just in a hurry and for get to pray over your food?  Let this thought creep into your mind next time. Take a few minuets out to thank God for your food and to bless it. Because you don’t know who all handled that food or what it may be offered to. I also encourage you to check out what you are buying.

If you would like to check out some kosher food they list most here:

  2. I would like to add in this article, also, that our foods have GMO’s in them, which are poisonous and deadly. Most everything we eat has GMO’s, which have been outlawed in Europe and France due to the deadliness and fast acting disease processes evolving from GMO’s. I highly advise anyone to research GMO’s if you don’t already know much about them!

Regardless, as I know you know 🙂 we should always pray over our food anyway because it is a blessing from God and we should be thankful for everything, great and small! Including our toilet paper! After all, what would we do without it? 😉

  3. Here is an awesome video for you, btw. It is very very moving. I found it yesterday. If you’re able, click on the change quality button at the bottom of it after hitting play, and watch in full screen 720p.

      • It’s okay. I know how that is. A word of advice: whenever you get anything, virus or bacterial infection, get Olive Leaf Extract, zinc, vitamin c and D3. Take 3 Olive Leafs when you’re chronic, divided doses (1 in a.m., 1 in mid-noon, 1 in pm), take 2 vit c with bioflavonoids (this carries it into your cells better, otherwise you just pee it out) one 1,000 mg buffered form twice per day (2,000 mg total by end of day), 60-80 mg’s zing (do not take 100 or more mgs for more than two weeks, as it will ‘decrease’ the function of your immune system), and 2-3,000 IU (NOT MG’S) of D3.

Most people do not get enough D3 and are deficient. D3 protects against cancer, as well strengthens your immunities. Anyhow, the Olive Leaf extract is a natural antibiotic, anti viral, and anti fungal. It is the only thing, combined with the other stuff I mentioned makes it even better, that can kill/destroy a virus.

About a year ago, everyone had this horrible cold that lasted for eight weeks or more. I got it. I had it for one week. On the last day, I literally felt like walking death. I woke up the next morning and it was gone..completely. I was taking this stuff above as well as praying really hard at the same time.

Also, organic ginger tea helps too! Natural antibiotic and great for circulation. Don’t forget to drink lot’s of water, and if you can, squeeze some fresh lemon juice into it as an antioxidant. God bless!
